This module is called events, but it is really a calendar for to post events going on.

Steps to use this module:

• Add the module to your page in the correct pane that you want it to show up.
  
• When you add it, you will get a message in red that talks about update portal settings.
• Mouse over the blue down arrow for the module and choose settings
  
• Under basic settings uncheck "inherent view permissions from page"
  
• Then go and check "All users" to view and then give yourself Edit rights.
  
• Before clicking update, go down to Event module settings and under general settings
  
  • If you wish you can change the time internal of 30 minutes to 15 minutes
    
  • Change the time zone to central
• Now click update and the calendar should now show up on your page.
  
• You can now mouse over the blue down arrow and choose add event and start adding things to your calendar.
• You do have the option to put things in as a recurring event, look at the bottom of the add event window at the recurring settings.
